TC dash and brake parts wanted

Hi, I'm in Oz and looking for two map lights, ignition and low fuel warning lights. Also the 2 way banjo and bolt that attaches to the rear of the master cylinder, all for my TC. I'm willing to pay postage and a fair price. Regards, Don

Re: TC Brass Engine Tags

Tom, thank you for the chassis number, I have one more XPAG block and will let you know the number tomorrow if you can kindly let me know the chassis number for that one also. Someone down the track may want to know. All blocks have the water tap in the centre.

Re: Primer paint for a long project

Antijam, what size tyres are on your TC? I have 16" on my TC but would like to know the tyre width you are using. Looks good.

Re: TC Brass Engine Tags

I've rubbed down the bellhousing just above where the tag would be but can't see anything, I know the TF has the number stamped on the block above the ID plate. I have the correct block for my car though and I am rebuilding that one.

Re: TC Brass Engine Tags

You are correct Tom, one too many asterisks. The number is 9925. I was going by a previous post that said D represents the fourth decade, I assumed that C would be the third. The casting no. is 24146. Another block is 24146 also, with 12 D 8 cast into it, no engine tag though.

Re: TC Brass Engine Tags

I have a TC block with C 9 but the ID plate is XPAG 99***. This would make it 1939 and a TB engine but I'm sure they never made over 9000 TBs.

Re: Rebuilding TC5560

Hi Herman, your rebuild is looking good and I think black is an excellent colour for a TC. Mine has beige interior and was restored some 25 years ago. It's rare that I have the top on as the weather in South Oz is normally fine.
Good luck, Don. TC 1736

Re: New TC for the site.

Hi Marv, the wheels and tyres are 16", a lot better ride and I can get radials for them over here. I will get a set of 19" for show as I think they look better.
