Re: Paint colour

I'd say orange, or the MGB Blaize would not be good.
Whatever colour you choose be careful when picking a match for the upholstary.

I find it ironic that the colours red, white, and blue stand for freedom, until they're flashing behind you.

Re: Steering wheel conundrum

Good Morning David, Looking at other TC's in the Unclub there are differences depending on various luggage rack fittings and adaptions over the years. You should make a short trip down this way and take a look at mine and others south of the Fraser. Malcolm When fixing something there is nothing mor...

New American driving law ?

Have a grand laugh but remember, they are out there, walking amongst us ! P.T. Barnum (the old Barnum and Bailly circus guy) said a couple things that fit in here; “No one ever went broke by underestimating the intelligence of the American public” and, “there’s a sucker born every minute”…….I’m just...

Re: Spelling

This has reminded me of an incident many years ago. It is a true story. I was hosting a luncheon in Miami to a group of 'influential ladies' some of whom were teachers. The subject soon got round to our first days at school. I said that the days of slates and chalk were almost over and we were given...

Re: Spelling

Dirk, as far as the Dutch are concerned I have never met anyone from that fine Kingdom that does not speak the Queens (UK) English perfectly! So one assumes they can also spell correctly. Stan, last time I was over in England - earlier this year - they still put petrol n their tanks, and it was not ...

Changing tyres

I seem to recall there was a useful YouTube video on how to install a new tyre by using a garbage bag. I found one example but it is not exactly related to the type of tyre on a TC.
Does anybody know if such a video exists and the link ?

Thanks
