Distrubor High-Lift cam recognition.

TC 9981 has had an unusual history in that it appears to have spent the first 40 years of its existence on rubber plantations in Malaysia, where, I would imagine, spares were hard obtain and local ingenuity was required to keep it of the road. (The history file also indicates that occasional visits ...

Re: MG TC: Wiring cover (scuttle masking board) dimensions

Hello Lynne and Norman. I am in Devizes, Wiltshire. I'm sure I have seen a drawing with the correct dimensions somewhere, but I can't remember where. If I cannot find anything locally that I can copy (and/or which is somewhat closer than Yorkshire!), could I please come up to Royston make a tracing ...

Can anybody tell me where I can find the correct dimensions of the wiring cover that should be under the dash of a 1949 TC?

Thanks, Bill Ritson

The nuts on the outer ends of lower rear shackle pins are off and the nuts on the upper rear shackle pins are loosened. But the shackle plate won't come off. ...

Re: Build date

John James' website, (ttypes.org/ttt2/) has a T type database. It puts your car at 8/9 September 1949. There are no surviving factory records.

Re: Malaysia and Singapore TCs

My car is TC9981. When new it appears to have been exported to Malaysia, but I have no documentation to confirm that it was there prior to 1965. The car was used for some low key competition in Malaya, and as with many T types it has been much altered over the years. Before I think about doing any r...

Malaysia and Singapore TCs

Does anyone know of a record of those TCs which were sent to Malaysia and Singapore?
