Spare tire mount

We got a new knock off for the TC and I was aware before hand that it had a spring/and key arrangement. I've looked through the manual and a half dozen books but I don't find any reference as to how and why of the key in the slot. Can someone elaborate what the purpose is and how to properly put it ...

I know I'm needy...sorry...need another image fuel sender

pieces fell out of this one when I took the cover off and it's not exactly like the ones on my TD and TF. I like to see an image on the inside on one to see if I can possibly repair this one.'

Thanks,

Re: I need an image of the fast idle spring set up

Thanks, There is way too much resistance with the spring installed so I believe I will leave it off unless somebody has a good reason why I shouldn't.

I need an image of the fast idle spring set up

I have all the pieces (I think) but I don't see how the spring should be installed. A couple of clear pictures would be most appreciated.

Thank You,

Locating the seat frames

I'll be securing the new floor boards after I get the TC on it's new tires and off my lift. A little welding including fabricating brackets from the frame to the muffler. I'm wondering what the best way to locate the seat frames on the floor boards might be, I have some idea but would like yours. Al...

Re: Need an image of the felt pattern

Thats what I'll most likely do Gene. Why don't you come on over and help. I could use some experience on this thing. Starting the interior... I'm not to pleased with the work I've done so far. Good thing I'm not getting paid.

Need an image of the felt pattern

I could use an image to see how the felt was cut for the side curtain box. We sourced some felt locally.

Thanks

Issues with new Moss brake shoes

No problems on the front. The rear is another story. The back side of the spring peg stand proud of the shoe steel by quite a bit and will not allow the e brake bracket to slide by. Looks like I have to grind it down to make it work. crap. :x
