attached picture you can see where the orignal swith is fitted to the chassis rail,
ther must be two holes in the chassis rail,

the second picture is the correct swith for TA-TC,
but it is fitted on rear of the starter motor.

No, this affects just the idlening mixture, not the mixture in the running position of the needle.

Check the petrol level in the float,

the original thread type in a cast irion head is metric M10 x 1 mm, so I guess the thread in a Laystall head is the same,

attached a picture of a original speedo calibrated in KM.
Also you can spot the distance of Odometer to Tripteller - this is on Chronometric speedo much
wider than on your Magnetic speedo,

before you start the engine and kill it, you have changed the and filter I think,
read following carefully,

It is a must to prime the oil pump before you start the engine!
