Re: Front Axle

Good question, when I had a rear spring re arched it was done cold, there was a reason and as I recall something about changing the characteristics of the spring steel. Not sure how this would affect a front axle, but I think if I could I would do it cold. Speaking of missing articles, what happened...

Re: Ever want TA/B/C BrooklandsScreens without drilling hole

Some of the Morgan guys have done that to their cars when fitting mechanisms to allow their windscreen to fold, ala TC., no holes need to be drilled. That said by careful spacing you can fit Brooklands screens on the scuttle humps in such a way that you can raise and lower the windscreen without int...

Re: XPAG plumbing for heater

Tom, Mine is set up with a small pipe from the branch or Y pipe between the water pump and lower radiator outlet with a hose running below the carbs, through the firewall to the heater. The return hose comes off the heater, through the firewall to an outlet on the cover plate at the rear of the cyli...

Re: Before and After

While TC2911 looked good in red from twenty feet, the tub was mostly bondo and roof flashing, rear wings were glass fiber and the sills were some sort of wood better suited to home contstruction, after a nut and bolt restoration by me, it looks better I think in its original black.

Re: Muffler (Exhaust)

Gene, those guys have the ability to make up systems also and I'm sure if you have somethin in mind they would do it. I bought a bunch of pipe and mufflers and such to make a system for my Plus 8 Morgan years ago and they were more than happy to make a few mods. for me. You might chat with them.

Re: Exhaust coating

Would not count on it with any of the stuff, the manifold on TC2911 is ceramic coated and you can still get a nasty burn if you touch it.
