Re: Parts needed for TC 7801
During the rebuild of my TC needing new reflectors I discovered and purchased two LUCAS TYPE 8" BEAM UNIT CURVED GLASS FITS BSA TRIUMPH NORTON AJS - UK SUPPLIED reflectors from https://www.ebay.co.uk/str/fairdeals2017?_trksid=p4429486.m3561.l2563 . They cost me £24.99 each at the beginning of 2022 T...

Hi Franz, Have you a yacht or power boat builder you could speak to. They may be able to advise you on the "gelcoat" they use to cover their glass fibre boats with.

Magnetic UK badge
A word of warning to those who have currently a magnetic country of origin badge. I removed mine yesterday whilst cleaning to discover that not only was it`s location obvious but it had ruined the paintwork. It had "wrinkled" it. Now it may possibly be as a result of petrol "spillage" when filling o...

Great job Franz. You take owning a T Series MG to a new level. In my opinion a very talented craftsman.

Re: MG TA1932 in Germany - Blog - all problems and ...
This is an interesting project Franz. One point of interest is your fixing to the windscreen frame. With our cars normally having plenty of areas for air to escape I wonder whether the fixed hood will put extra pressure on the "pins" on the existing screen frame. Could the "trapped" air in the cabin...

Re: TC Radiator Shell Wanted
I also note in reading both this article and similar on the subject that unless you had already discovered this that the TD radiator is virtually identical. So some one may have one of those spare- unless of course you are desperate for originality.

Side screen covers
Just a remote chance but has anyone got a set of side screen covers ( just the canvass) in black for a MGTC they`d like to sell please.

Why aftermarket- purely not concerned about originality, one of economy.

TC water temperature guage
I`ve a TC (positive earth) with a standard temperature gauge running from the radiator. I`m thinking of adding a secondary gauge from the rear of the cylinder head possibly using a modern electrical gauge. Are any available that work on positive earth as I don`t currently want to convert to negative...

Whilst I too think that the TC with the hardtop looks great I wonder if the owner/driver is quite short. Driving hood down makes entry and exit so much easier for a 6 foot oldy. I wonder how attachment at the rear was arranged?

TC Spare wheel assembly
After 3 years with my TC rebuild I`ve a problem remembering the spare wheel assembly situation even after reading TCs For Ever. I have basically 3 components, A "keyed" shaft threaded one end and which has a disc attached approximately 1/4 from the keyed end. A Spring and the knock on spinner. Obvio...

fuse sizes
My standard as original TC has a 25amp and 50 amp fuse when I believe 35amp and 50 amp were the original specification. I note many have shown concern regarding fires and amended by installing additional inline fuses. So two questions 1) Do I assume the original 50 amp fuse secures the cut-out circu...
