Re: Hello and problem with stub axles
Highly recommend Bob's front spindle inserts. My '37 axles were both cracked when tested. Local machinist did a good job fitting them and NTG supplies the MGA castle nuts. If you have a copy of "TC's Forever" see what can happen if the axle breaks. Can be fatal!!

Has anyone got a pair of MG TA carbs for sale. My TA is fitted with rogue non standard SU's with pancake filters. I have the correct air cleaner with manifold but it doesn't fit on the carbs.

TA Air cleaner mounting
My TA came with two pancake air filters bolted on. I have purchased a new original format canister air cleaner and manifold, but there does not appear to be any way I can attach the manifold to the carbs as there are no attachment points on the manifold. Is there a part that goes between the manifol...

Re: 1937 MG TA timing chain cover
Thanks Phil. Managed to get some patterns off a TA in Auckland a few weeks ago so I am OK but thanks for your offer. Re the fitting on the timing cover, will probably blank it off and leave it. The return spring is still puzzling me as it may be different on a TC. Can you see the one on yours. Regar...
