Re: Fuel pump loses prime

Maybe obvious questions, ..... have you checked the pre-filter screens at the outlet from the tank and also at the pump inlet..

Re: TC air filter modification

There have been a number of Modifications put forward for the TC air filter canister. Some are much more involved than others. http://www.mg-tabc.org/library/T-airfilter-2-K%26N.htm (somewhat complicated and involved) http://www.tcmotoringguild.org/techinfo/TClinic-6.pdf (requires adobe reader or n...

Re: new owner

Does it have a small brass plate on the battery box under the top two that says "MADE IN ENGLAND"? If so, it was never registered in the UK from new, might have been re-imported back and registered and then came back across the puddle to the U.S. but that's about the only scenario where it would hav...

Re: MG bit - What is it?

Thanks Ian:
At any rate, it looks great. I hadn't looked at the Moss accessories area but will take a glance. I've got other areas of more pressing importance on the old gal right now anyway.

Cheers,

MG bit - What is it?

Acquired this neat little MG crested aluminum casting in a box of bits at a swap meet. Assume it is an accessory piece maybe to a side valve lifter access plate or an earlier MG engine bit before the TC's. Anyone recognize it and it's purpose in life ? :? It's about 1-1/2" x 4-1/2" in size. Marv TC...

Absolutely! To make it special and better, this book was signed by the author with a personalized note to yours truly. I almost need another for the garage and keep this one on the bookshelf.

Re: Mystery turn signals - need help to identify them

They didn't come from Cars. They are vintage 1920's - 30's trucks., Pierce Arrow, Dodge, Chevy and others of the day all had similar looking turn signals. These are probably Pierce Arrow with the "bowed curvature" of the arrow. Value is based on condition - maybe $125 for the pair you've got to $32...

Re: Wanted: TC Hub, Front preferred but can make a rear hub

Hi Bill:

I was thinking that maybe an "A" or "B" hub might work. I'll have to look in the back room junk pile, I think I've got some of each.. Also have a couple Austin Healey hubs somewhere to, just haven't made time to dig them out.

Cheers. Happy Holidays..
