registration plate in Australia
My TC 7677 was originally sold in Adelaide in 1949 my question is what did the Australian license plate look like, how was it mounted on the front and the back, does anyone have one? It would be fun to display one at a show.

extra holes in rocker arms
In the latest issue of totally t type 2 an article discusses closing the hole on the top of the rocker arm, do we agree this is a good idea? Isn't it there to lubricate the valve and rocker arm contact area?

black painted "D" tail lights
I have acquired a few black "D" tail lights split and non split lens, single and dual bulbs, were they ever used on MGs? If not what cars are they used on?

Re: Replacing standard TC seats with bucket seats
I put a set of Factory Five Cobra in a MG TD. They are very vintage looking bucket seats. They cost approximately $500 a set. Search for factory Five Cobra website.

I have a question about restorations
I am not trying to brag about my restorations but I have a serious question. I have restored 4 TC's and a TD in the last 5 years. These have all been frame up restorations. These cars have all been sold at very respectable prices indicating the level of the completed product. My question has anyone ...

machining the TC oil pump
I need to surface of the oil pump housing, cover and gears. I have had the parts to three shops and they don't seem to know how to hold the parts on a surface grinder. The surfaces are too rough to use the glass and sandpaper method. Is there another way of surfacing these parts? Or is there someone...

Is there a gasket between the gearbox and the clutch housing? If not why doesn't the joint leak? I have put three of these together and now I can't remember.

Re: I have recently purchased TC 7677 looking for any histor
hanks very much now I know why there is no rust or wood. The other mystery was why it didn't have bumpers or horns under the bonnet and had a imported from England plaque. Thanks a lot.

Dunlop tire codes
I have 4 Dunlop tires I acquired with my recent purchase of TC 7677. They look perfect no cracks and the surface is soft enough so you can push your finger nail in. My concern is how old are they. There are 2 numerical markings on the tires, (3) have 61052 and (1) has 61053. There is another marking...

I have recently purchased TC 7677 looking for any history
I purchased TC 7677 yesterday and hauled it home. This will be my forth TC restoration in 5 years does anyone have any history of this car, anything would be appreciated. I can't believe the condition no rust and no rotten wood. The engine was frozen a little Marvel oil and it's free. I hope the res...
