grill slats move?

Post by tone » Sun Jan 22, 2017 11:42 am

I've heard that the grill slats are moveable for summer/ winter air flow, is this the case?

Some early cars did this, but never M.G.s.

With a working thermostat you should be fine, but back in the day you could buy radiator covers that you hang on the front for really cold climates.

They were not designed for adjustments, but you can bend them if one looks out of alignment with the others. You do risk cracking them at the two bend points.

My father used to have one for the TC but have not seen it in years. When he bought the car in the 50's it was just a second car for commuting to work
