I have not used Lucas switches as NAPA and the other usual auto parts stores carry this item under their own label as it is used in a number of cars. I also understand that Harley Davidson uses a silicone compatible switch as their bikes come with silicone. Might be worth investigating.

All switches made today are silicon compatible. Harley probably labels theirs as such so that Harley owners will only buy from them.

I forgot to mention that the last switch I put in my daily driver BGT is a Duralast from Auto Zone. It has been on for a lot of miles now and still works as new.

Hello
found a hydraulic switch, left side at the hight of the master cylinder.
no chance to change the wires,
the switch looks to the top, but there is the floor,
if the had cut a little hole no problem,
so i have to cut it now, but much more difficult
