LHD to RHD conversion

Post by jddevel » Sat Sep 08, 2018 8:46 am

I am about to take the plunge and convert my TF1500 from LHD to RHD. As this car has been subject to quite a good deal of work by the previous owner it will be hopefully carried out with out a body of job. Any advice especially from members who I can personally chat to would be invaluable obviously. This job is a pre-cursor to a full restoration to a dry stoerd `48 TC last on the road in 1956 and with only surface rust, what appears to be a good wood frame (example no door sag) and an engine that actually runs believe it or not. On this one my wife thinks I`m mad even considering it.

Why the change? Basically at our age both my wife and I feel that the enjoyment of the car is enhanced by a driving position we are use to in 50 plus years each of motoring and the car was purchased before the arrival of the TC so a "winter" challenge was look forward to. Regarding parts availability. Moss.
