TC floorboards

Post by antijam » Mon Jun 11, 2018 10:30 am

The original floorboards of my TC have a steel angle section 1" x 1" x 13" long screwed on one flange to their rear extremity, the other flange being screwed to rear bulkhead where it meets the floor.

I can find no reference to this part in any lists or manuals and I'm wondering if it was an original fitment or something added by a previous owner to reinforce the gap/joint between the floorboard and the bulkhead.

Can anyone confirm one way or the other? Thanks in anticipation

All of the TCs I have worked on (many) all had the angle piece you are referring to. If the floorboards have been replaced thy could have been left off.
