I purchased TC8008/XPAG 8687 from Donald Blair of Belleville, Ont. He was retiring from teaching and sold TC8008 to me on Feb.10/84. Don had bought TC8008 in 1964 at ''Grant Clark Auto Ltd.'' ( Toronto area car lot). Following my purchase was 9+ years of restoration. Yes ONLY 9 years! I needed lots of help (young and foolish!!!) but with the help of Jim Sebert of Millbrook and Mike Lewis of Toronto, TC8008 was back on the road on Oct. 2,1993.

That first drive? You all remember. Sliding behind the steering wheel not to smoothly!!), turn the key pull the starter. Then that first time you get on the road and you're weaving all over it. And who could forget those brakes. Yes, I'll never forget it.

In the years since getting TC back on the road I've enjoyed many an adventure and hopefully there's a lot more ahead. If there is anyone out there that might know some history on TC8008 prior to 1964 I'd be glad to here from you.
