I first saw a TC when I was in the U.S. Air Force in 1951 and had wanted one ever since. I was finally able to get this one in January 1997. The previous owner (John Tamburri) had done lots of work on the car and it was in good shape. He had little information on the car's history; It has a 1965 "New South Wales" registration sticker on the windscreen, and he said that it had once been raced in Australia, I replaced the 15" wheels with 19" spokes, had some electrical and brake work done and now drive this car almost every day.
