Carl Cederstrands Brookland Screens fixing

I made the Brooklands brackets from 3/8" X 1 3/8" brass bar stock. The
brackets were filed to fit the curve of the scuttle with die sinkers files
and the use of Prussian Blue to identify the area in contact with the
scuttle. The drilled and tapped screw holes in the bottom of the brackets
are perpendicular to the sheet metal and not the long axis of the bracket.
The brackets are attached by two screws per bracket. The screws go through
the scuttle with the heads of the screws on the inside of the scuttle. The
thick piece of plywood behind the facia board will have to be relieved
(with a rat tail file) in several places to accommodate the heads of these
attaching screws.
