The car was parked in a farm shed in Stellenbosch in ~1964 and stood on blocks. It seems as if it had been raced as there are 2x fuel pumps, vacuum gauge fitted, the carbs have ram tubes (note bulge on carb side to accommodate) and the back plates of the front brakes have holes and slots to aid ventilation. Also note the double decker spare wheels. Most of the parts are there which is surprising as cars on farms are stripped to keep other farm equipment maintained. Car to be restored and as they say will probably take 2x as long and cost 3x as much as initially planned. There are however no surprises as the car has to stripped down to the last nut and bolt; after standing for ~40 years you cannot trust anything.
