TC 9716 was restored 7 years ago. Virtually everything was either re-built or new, it runs the standard 7.3 cr, a 4.875 diff. and a Datsun steering box.

The green is actually Irish Green, an early Porsche colour, with tan interior. It is an original Adelaide car and earlier in it's life competed in various club events.

The car is entered in the Lobethal re-enactment of the 1939 Grand Prix later this year, originally won by an MG TA. This is run over the original 8 mile road circuit through the small towns in the Adelaide Hills. We have run at 5000rpm on the freeway with an indicated 80mph. (with 4.50 x 19 cross ply tyres and white knuckles)

We drive the car hail rain or shine, and attend most of the MG Car Club of SA outings WTD, with top down! and often with the windscreen folded.
