My wife and I bought TC5285 in 1978 while living in S. California. It had a CA black registration plate with a 1968 sticker, having been stored for 10 years by the previous owner. After 3 years of ownership, we had it driveable again. During the subsequent 20 years, we've done a lot of mechanical repair but little cosmetic restoration. It was originally red & red, but is neither original, with a Shires Green respray and bisquit vinyl interior from the early 1960's, nor perferctly restored. It's a reliable and fun driver, regularly driven as a proper sports car with the broken spokes to prove it, but with it's patina is hardly a show car. It's moved with us to the San Francisco Bay area, to Texas, to Alaska, and to Oklahoma.
