The car is completely restored in original configuration. I don't know much about it's history but I believe it suffered many years of little use in the past. I drive the machine every chance I get which amounts to some 4000 miles or so a year. Although it won first place in the only show I entered it in, I far prefer to just drive the car and enjoy it as a vehicle rather than an artifact. It is garaged with two other noteworthy machines, a Ferrari Testarossa and a Ferrari F355 Spider, but it is usually my choice for a fun drive when the weather complements its graces. I owned one of these splendid little cars back in 1952 while a college student and loved it dearly then also. It was my first car and I did a number of local races in it, then finally supercharged it and elevated the class in was entered in. This led to being priced out of the wars as serious racing even back then was cruel on one's purse. If I had a bigger garage, I'd simply add more MG's. I'd love to own a J2 or, dare I say, a K3 !!! Ah, that's the stuff dreams are made of.....

Best Regards
