My name is Neil Bradley and I'm another Knight entering the "Lists" and I live in Berkeley, California. Our trusty steed is a 1946 MGTC, number 0529 (the 278th built out of 10,001), Engine #911. It's black, with Shire's green "saddles", as original. Of course, we call her "Black Beauty". Its only major modification is the Australian Retro-fit Steering Box kit. (I'm sure glad I did it ) As a young man in Taunton, Massachusetts, I was the proud owner of a used MGTC. Having once owned a TC left a permanent mark on me. So one day, in 1968, a man in a TC stopped by my house, needing water for his radiator . An hour later, I had myself another TC and a twenty five year restoration saga began. The car was full of Bondo and a lot of bad work had been done to keep it going. Well, we took it apart and it ended up in boxes strewn throughout the house. We bought parts when we could, which were hard to find at that time but most of which were still in original boxes. As many of you know, raising a family has a way of interfering with car restorations, so We deferred things. In restrospect it seems we were waiting for our son, Andrew, who was two at the time of purchase, to grow up and get his degree in Industrial Arts. Now he actually has his own business restoring British cars. It was he who did the final ground up restoration of our "Black Beauty". He did a beautiful job and we're proud of his accomplishments and the car. We are members of the Octagon Car Club, the New England T-Registry, The Abingdon Rough Riders, the Sorry Safari Touring Society, and now the MG-T List! Neil "Boomer" Bradley
