Dear All
Did any TC leave the factory with a brass bodied fuel pump (AUA25)?
Best regards

Hi Julian,
I can't give an authoritative answer, but to my knowledge the last T Types to be fitted with brass fuel or carburettor components were 1936 or 1937 TA's. A friend of mine has a narrow winged 1937 car (the same rear guards as a P Type) and this is fitted with brass bodied carburettors. I can't help with the numbers as I have not seen him or the car for many years. He also has a later model TA with the same rear guards as the TC, and this has alloy components the same as on my car.

According to Moss Motors the TC had them up to serial 4000. Moss sells them now:

Doing a little research, Michael Sherrell states that the brass body continued on into the early TCs. Can this be narrowed down a little more from Circa chassis 4000 and 'early'? I must declare an interest, I need to buy a new pump and my car is TC3382!
Best regards

Julian, on page 60 of Mike's book he states that the brass base changed to alloy around TC4407.
Sorry I misread your post. I was referring to the bodies of the carburettors themselves. these were common on TA's as I have already mentioned.
