Thank you for letting me join... 1938 TA 2463

Post by Mark T Boldry » Sat Jan 16, 2021 9:54 am

I’ve had this TA for over 40 years, Dad and I have travelled many many miles in that time in the UK and Europe too... Just recently, she’s suffered a little neglect and on our last MG Car Club event she let us down with electrical gremlins. It’s now time to put a new wiring harness into her and sort out some of thos little niggling ‘detail’ jobs... She’ll never be a show winner, but she’s certainly LOTS of fune..!

Welcome, Mark! Some great history there. A wise friend of mine, who I've spent many miles touring with in our TCs, once said to me, "Everyone gets their turn to halt the caravan eventually". He was referring to the inevitable breakdown. I'm sure you'll have the old girl back in tip top shape soon. Like you, I prefer a bit of dirt in the arches to a trailer queen.

I’m hoping to be joined in the next year or two by a couple of Aussie mates with their TC’s I’m sure there will be some touring done that year...
