Fitting MG TC front wings

Hi all,
My new front wings have arrived (they look great!) - the front hole will need opening to clear the bolt on the chassis (covered by the little dome on the front apron). I just want to be sure that I should open this hole - surely you don't remove the bolt and fit it through the wing hole? I have also just go a new front apron from a different supplier - I will have to cut it up and completely reweld to make it fit - only going this route because the louvers in the original panel are shot. Yes, if it’s the bottom hole open it up to fit over the round bolt head.
