TC pedals fume excluder.

Post by Ray White » Sun Feb 04, 2024 10:41 am

I have managed to fit the rubber pedals fume excluder over the pedals by using silicon spray lubricant and a hair dryer to make the rubber more compliant. (Round of applause, thank you!)

The metal retainer however has big screws holes and I am wondering what type of fixings should be used ?

The special countersunk washers (as used on the floor bolts) seem too wide.

To the best of my knowledge, it's just a wood screw with a round, slotted head.

Specification 259 calls for No8 x 3/4” round headed woodscrew.

Thanks for that, guys. I will probably just slip plain washers under the screws.
