i recently replaced my original bushings on my 1946 TC and no washer was present. for what its worth.

ok, i did order the bockley tires and tubes. also rebuilt the bishop steering box with new cam, peg, bearings etc.
also new steering balls and new hubs and bearings. i set toe in to 7/16". no more wandering and now fun to drive.

thank you duncan...........actually. i found another series of numbers on the head.......9 D 7 i am wondering if
that perhaps may date it. maybe 9 april 47 ? it has a morris replacement engine with a block dated 13 may 49

the rims on my tc measure 4" outside. i wanted to order new tires from blockley but they
indicate the rim width max should be 3.25 for the 4,00 x 19 tires. do i have non standard rims?

thank you for the reply. i assume the cam is heat shrunk on the shaft. do you know what peg would work with your cam? i have a new peg and sector installed. still way to much wandering even with all new kingpins tie rod ends and track rod ends,with new balls. all thats left to cause wandering is the...

why not replace pan gaskets and front seal. much easier. and problem solved with

well, finally got it out. what a bugger. took a thin chisel to drive in the joint and a liberal amount of
nut blaster to break loose. now after cleanup and assembly, getting the safety wire in place
looks like a challenge.
yes i have a new housing with o-ring installed.
