In search of original owner
When I bought my TC #7057 I looked under the passenger seat and discovered two license plates, old and worn FDW 127. I assumed they were the originals that came with the car when new. I was told a young RAF pilot had purchased the car new after WW11. He eventually, apparently, moved to the Philidelp...

Oil Can on my TC
I understand that some home market TC's had a bracket located on the battery box which held a quart can of oil. Does anyone know anything about this?

tool kits and jacks
Were tool kits and jacks standard equipment when purchasing a new TC or were they the responsibility of the new owner to purchase separately ?
TC jack
I am looking to purchase a jack for my TC. I don't know if, back in 1948, you had a choice of manufacturers? Seems like King Dick or Shelly would have been the choices. I realize an original would probably break the bank so I'm searching for a vintage jack that would be very close to either the King...

Re: Brooklands screens
I originally put forth the question concerning Brookland screens located on the windscreen frame, I have since decided to mount them on the cowl itself has anyone a guide as to placement? Locating each mounting bracket? Is there any measurement that is standard? If so where to measure from, what ref...

Brooklands screens
I have TC # 7054 and have recently received a pair of Brookland screens. I have the idea I can install the mounting brackets for these screens on the lower windshield frame as opposed to securing the screen mounting brackets to the cowl. By folding the windshield to the horizontal position I can eas...

TC headlight stone guards
I have TC # 7057 and I would like to install wire stone guards on the headlights. 7" stone guards have been all I can find at a reasonable price, 8" stone guards run in to many hundreds of dollars. Does anyone know of 8" stone guards at a reasonable price? Has anyone installed any size stone guards ...
